NutraGold Holistic formulas are formulated with lower amounts of ash and phosphorus to promote healthy kidney function.
Ash is the non-combustible portion of a pets diet and is primarily calcium, phosphorus, and other minerals. High levels of ash have an adverse effect on both palatability and digestibility—and for adults, high levels of ash may be a health concern. So, when ash levels decrease, palatability and digestibility increase—as well as health benefits. |

Omega 6/Omega 3 Management System |

Omega-6 and Omega-3 are fatty acids important to proper health. While all pet foods contain the essential fatty acid Omega-6 (linoleic), many do not have the levels of Omega-3 (linolenic) fatty acids required to maintain a proper fatty acid ratio.
Every NutraGold Holistic formula is supplemented with flaxseed to ensure the correct Omega-6 to Omega-3 fatty acid ratio between 5:1 and 10:1.
 Research indicates a diet with the correct fatty acid ratio may contribute to numerous health benefits:
